this simply doesn’t matter anymore—plus, i’ve been saying “no” most of the time. i do hope to one day have some food with me so that, at the stop sign before getting on the ross island bridge, i can hand it to the person who is almost always standing there. 5 years ago
searching 43things for “homeless” really confused me. all i seemed to find were goals about GIVING money to homeless people. buying a bum a sandwich is one thing, but i see no point in giving “change” to people who ask me for it. in fact, it’s a bad habit of mine—saying “yes,” that is. and i want to change it, no matter how bad of a person i will seem to some. 7 years ago
