Hand all my assignments in on time

Done. It’s all in. All assignments in on time. If I see another one, it will be too soon.

Thank you everyone so incredibly much for your support. It’s really helped me put one foot in front of the other. And I know I’ve said that before, but I could never say it enough. It means a lot.

This has been such a huge goal and it feels like its taken over so much of my life. I’m looking forward to having my life back, at least for a little while.

I found out that the supervisor for my novella won’t be in on Friday when it’s due in. She’s accepting work handed in on Monday morning.

This is a huge relief for me because this goal is really taking its toll on me. I’ve been having trouble sleeping, leaving me feeling exhausted and unable to concentrate.

Just a few days to go. I can do this.

Woot! Today I managed to hand in my Literary Studies essay… a day early. I also handed in my Literary Studies tutorial reports… a week and a day early.

Which leaves me with one last piece of work to hand in. Of course I also have 2 tests and an exam, but they aren’t covered under this goal. The last piece is my 10 000 word novella which, as it stands, is about half done. It’s due at the end of next week.

I can do this.

I got a lovely little message from Ardilla today cheering me on. Thank you, you darling angel! The encouragement was much appreciated.

Made this week’s lot in by the skin of my teeth. Two reports handed in just 15 minutes before the deadline. I don’t want to do that again in a hurry, but I have another essay due in one week from today.

sigh

I have 3 weeks of classes left until I finish my degree. I have 2 assignments and a presentation due during the first of those weeks, an essay for the second, and a series of tutorial reports and my 10 000 word novella due during the last week.

I have a feeling it’s going to come down to the line.

Made it. Wasn’t entirely happy with the quality, but they got done and were handed in on time.

I’m not quite ready to look at the next ones yet.

I’ve had a terrible setback on this. My computer crashed last night and I’m still in the process of recovering access to all the files. Thankfully I managed to recover my Literary Studies reports, so I can still tick that as done.

But basically I’m in the same place I was yesterday when I need to be so much further ahead.

Still, I’m optimistic that I will get everything in before 5pm tomorrow.

It’s Wednesday today and the last week of term. So far I’ve had to hand in non-assessable items or ones that had a miniscule amount of marks attached to them.

On Friday I have to hand in:

• reports on 6 Literary Studies seminars
• the first draft of my 10 000 word novella
• a 1000 word literature review for my research project.

Reports are all done. 2000 words of my story draft are down. I don’t need to have the full 10 000 but a few more would have been nice. I’ve read 2 of the 6 articles I’m meant to be reviewing for my research project.

Better get to it then.

I’m the second week in to my final semester of uni. The difference in the workload from last semester seems phenomenal.

The first piece of assessment I have is due tomorrow. Ironically enough, it’s non-assessable, but I’m required to complete it in order to pass. Thankfully, it’s a breeze—a simple project outline for my Creative Project this semester. The hardest part was summarizing the plot in 300 words or less. But it’s all done and ready to be handed in tomorrow.

So far, so good.

Huzzah! My last assignment for this semester just went in. My Lit studies essay and my noir project went in on Friday. I was very lucky that there was a general extension granted until today for all noir related material, otherwise I might not have gotten my production diary in. But now I don’t have to worry about it.

Since there’s only exams left, I can safely say I’ve completed this goal for the semester. Now I only have to survive next semested and I can tick this goal as done.
