I’ve been in French class for years and I have my “survival French” down well – but I want to be 100% fluent! :) I am trying to read novels, etc. and I am saving money for an 8 week trip to France next summer; hopefully that will be a big boost. I know this is the slowest part of language acquisition but I can’t think of anything else to do besides memorize the dictionary, haha. 2 years ago

So i ended up taking grade 12 french, and passed with a 70 (the lowest mark in my grade). Core french is preety much useless in becoming bilingual since it only really gets into grammer and not conversational.
I am planning to go to McGill in quebec, which may immerse me in the language. but if I am planning to work there I am going to to need to speak french pretty fluently. So now I am off to take college french courses.

I really wish I was blessed with the natural understanding and the right mouth to pronounce french. 3 years ago

The past summer gave me so many opportunities to use my french. Each year it gets easier. I have always been grateful how many doors this has opened for me 5 years ago

i took french for two semesters. although difficult at times to learn, i still enjoyed it. i know if i don’t keep at it, i will lose all i learned. so, i am going to start listening to my french cd’s again and carry my francois dictionary around with me:) 6 years ago

teenwizardpourquoi?

i have heavily broken french, after about 7 years of on-and-off french classes. je pense que j’ai besoin de utiliser francais souvent. see, i suck. next semester i will immerse myself in intensive french classes… hopefully i won’t kill myself from the stress. 6 years ago

desertmoonwoman40How?

This summer I had the chance to use my French with the tourists… it really helps. I think what I will do is use my Netflix and get French films, at least one a month! 6 years ago

KyrinneContinueing French through High School

I wish i was in french immersion but it was already to late for me when i was interestesed in really speaking french not just being forced to learn from my school. So now I have to continue to learn french through High School with the french immersion kids who dropped out of it. 6 years ago
