finnofsummerchecked the prices for this
It’s not too expensive. $155 for 2 people at 900 feet. If N wants to. Otherwise I will go by myself. :) Can’t wait! Mid July this gets checked off! 3 days ago

Parasailing was an interesting experience, and I might like to point out that it was an unnatural feeling swinging in mid air! The most exhilarating part was being reeled into the air and the very first glimpses of the world below. Unfortunately, being that high in the air didn’t get you much perspective of how high you actually were. Towards the end of the ride the wind began to pick up and I was being pushed to and fro a little bit. This freaked me out just a touch but it was fun being reeled back to earth onto the boat. I’m happy I did it but would not do it again, it doesn’t achieve much of a rush but is lovely. Will have to progress to abseiling next. 6 months ago
I have booked in to parasail at 10 am this Saturday and hopefully the weather will be nice, I am excited and pumped to experience this and can’t wait to blog about it afterwards and replace this with perhaps another goal. 6 months ago
I did it in the Gulf of Mexico off the island of Captiva. It was beautiful, until….. I got severely motion sick and then proceeded to vomit from 400-600ft. Aaaaaand then round 2 off the side of the boat. Was not a good idea to have a huge plate of seafood pasta with salad right before O_o 12 months ago
My darling boyfriend set up reservations in Traverse City to go parasailing the day before we went back to college for the fall. My parents, youngest sister, and I rode up to East Bay Park and ate a lunch of sandwiches, Pringles, Nutty 20 months ago
Intended to go parasailing in Cape May next weekend. Thanks to Irene, plans have to be cancelled. At least, I am glad that I did not go ahead with the reservations !!! 21 months ago
When I was in Ocean City one of my goals was to do this, but I was with my sister and she was a little bit crabby. She didn’t want to do much but I did convince her to go jetskiing with me. Of course once we went she had a blast but we didn’t have time to do the parasailing as well. Next opportunity I have I’m taking it! Nevertheless, jetskiing with my sister was awesome! Thumbs up for Rock n Roll! 21 months ago
Did this with three friends today at Balboa Parasail in Newport Beach, CA. It was a birthday present from my friends, who knew that this had been on my list for a while. We had a blast! The sensation is amazing. Imagine flying ABOVE a flock of birds. It was a gorgeous day: we had warm sunshine, fresh breeze and a cloudless sky to enjoy our panoramic view of the coast. On our way down, the driver dunked us once in the Pacific, which was pretty funny, and then set us gently on the boat. A perfect birthday treat for me. :) 22 months ago
I made this goal about 6 years ago and when the opportunity came to actually go parasailing, I hesitated! I’m still glad I did it and it was a lot of fun. Parasailing over the beaches in Cabo is quite an experience. 2 years ago
