I bought a package of six Valentine’s Day cards and sent them on Wednesday to the following people:
- My sister and her husband. Included a belated thank you for the Christmas gifts. Included some photos.
- My younger brother and his wife. Included a belated thank you for the Christmas gifts. Included some photos.
- My MIL. Included a belated thank you for the Christmas gifts. Included some photos.
- Our family friend who is a widow in South Carolina and who didn’t get a Christmas card from us. Included some photos.
- Our family friend who is a widow in Georgia and who didn’t get a Christmas card from us.
- Our family friends who live in an assisted living home and are one of our favorite couples.
I’m so glad that I did this. Hopefully they all are getting these cards tomorrow (Feb 14th)!

V-day bummer
I bought the valentines but our stickers and pictures have gotten lost with our MIA mail. I guess I could still send the Valentine’s cards but the whole point was to send the pictures to the grandparents. I’m gonna just hope they turn up or else this goal won’t be so motivating anymore.

ordered stickers and pictures of SB to include in the envelopes. This should be lots of fun for the grandparents.

Well, like some others, I was late in getting my long distance ones into the mail—they went out last night, so they’ll be getting into people’s hands later this week.
Hand delivered ones were great. Gave a couple of “Cookie Monster” Valentine’s to some co-workers (who were VERY amused) – most of who had a “warning” that I was going to be around. I even gave a couple to our regular coffee baristas who were very touched. :D
It made for a wonderful day. Doesn’t matter how old you are – you WILL make someone smile when you do this, especially if it’s totally unexpected. EVERYONE – especially adults – should try this because you’re guaranteed to make someone’s day.

Well, basically. I still have to hand-deliver one to a colleague, I need the address of someone who just moved to Korea, and one is waiting to go in a package, but other than that… ;-)
Yay!

Done and done. All my cute valentines went into the mailbox this morning!! Oooh, it’s totally late, I know… they only have 4 days to get there, but I had a heck of a time getting stamps for some reason. I should start ordering them online. Anyway, yay! They’re done!

Today I stamped the cards, stickered the envelopes, and return-addressed them. If it’s gonna get done, it’s gonna get done in stages.

The holiday season was so busy, I just didn’t have time to send as many gifts and cards as I wanted to. Maybe I can make up for it by sending cute Valentines! Paper Source, here I come!
