Read 30 Books in 2012

Beauty’s Punishment by A. N. Roquelaure

The second of the Beauty trilogy.
These are very graphic novels. I hadn’t really known what to expect when I started them. Going to start the third one now…

Sad Cypress by Agatha Christie

An entertaining mystery novel by the famous novelist, the first I’ve read of hers I believe.
Mystery novels aren’t really my thing… but this and the last one I’ve read I have really enjoyed. So, maybe I do like mysteries? I dunno. :) 4 months ago

The Giant Girl by Kristen den Hartog

I really liked this book. So, real and tragic.

The Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow by Cory Doctorow

A fun story about a future dystopia. Very imaginative. Would love to read more of this world. 4 months ago

The Minority Report by Philip K. Dick

The novel the movie was based on… was an quick, interesting read. And, there some pretty major differences between the book and the movie (but, that’s not a surprise). 4 months ago

Bossypants by Tina Fey

I liked this book. I love 30 Rock so I already love Tina Fey. The strangest thing to me would be when she would curse in the book. I have absolutely no problem with crudeness, but when she wrote “bag of dicks” I was surprised. ha! 4 months ago

Alabaster by Caitlin Kiernan

This was a collection of short stories about Dancy Flammarion, an albino demon hunter.
I quite enjoyed them.

I really have to hurry if I want to finish this goal… I’m actually in the middle of two books right now. I had previously started another one, but I don’t think I’ll get back to it for 2012. Most likely it’ll count for 2013. 4 months ago
