Fill up a scrapbook

I buy a lot of books, some of which I love and some of which have been pushed under my chest of draws to gather dust and keep the spiders company.
Rather than giving them all to the charity shop as planned I’ve been thinking of saving a few to use the pages to colour, paint and collage on. This is known as (if done well) “altering” your books (or “ruining” if done badly).

I can feel my inner child poised, pink safety scissors in one hand and a tub of blue poster paint in the other. It’d be like drawing in black marker pen on the walls or casually going to work dressed up as your favourite childhood superhero. You know you shouldn’t, but you wanna. 3 years ago
