xxbunnytraxMarch, April

I keep forgetting to log these. March I read the Art of Hearing Heartbeats. Maybe that was February? At some point I read Proof of Heaven (not a half bad read) and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. 6 days ago

EverFrostUntitled

Currently going at the rate of 1-2 books a week or thereabouts! Maybe a bit longer if the book is particularly heavy going.
I have two on the go just now; The Fountainhead – which I’m kind of taking a break from because it was annoying me a bit, but the story is engaging and I’m determined to finish it even though I generally disagree with Rand’s philosophy – and Poor Things, which I absolutely LOVE and am tearing through. 1 week ago

HeatherThis Bitter Earth by Bernice L. McFadden

5 out of 5. This story delves deeper into the history of Sugar and the characters she is involved with. Shocking and more depressing than Sugar, I thought this was an excellent conclusion and found myself totally enthralled by all the secrets. Better than the first book, although there were a few blunders in character description in the 2 books. 4 weeks ago

Christy O’Connor

Recommend by a friend. Hated it! Looked for changing room insight but full of usual cliche up and attems! 4 weeks ago

HeatherCan You Keep a Secret? by Sophie Kinsella

2 out of 5. Cliche, predictable, trite, chick-lit. Enjoyable light read, but once is enough. 4 weeks ago

HeatherShadow of Night by Deborah Harkness

3 out of 5. Like the first book this was pretty long-winded, but refreshing change from the last book I read. I was very enraptured the first half of the book yet unfailingly Harkness began to lose me in the details. I’m gonna pass on book three. 1 month ago

HeatherMy Beloved World - Sonia Sotomayer

3 out of 5. I don’t really know what to say about this, other than another persons life can seem so much more colorful compared to our own, and that this added a humanity and breadth to someone of position we may feel is hard to relate to. 1 month ago
