I delayed for two years after being hassled by my dentist and finally caved in when they said one of them was beginning to decay.

I had all four taken out at once, and since they were growing in sideways, they had to cut open my gums and crack them. I got laughing gas and local anesthetics, as well as Vicodin and an antibiotic. I’ve barely felt any pain.

The first few hours after the surgery are the worst when you can’t talk and are bleeding and swollen. After that, it just gets better and better. 2 years ago

kahurangiTime to bite the bullet

The only reason I haven’t done it (yet) is because I’m scared
Scared it’s going to hurt, worried about how much money it’s going to cost and scared I’m ging to die while I’m having them removed.

Time to get over being scared and have the two that NEED removing (and require oral surgery) taken out as they as causing decay to the teeth next to them and have been giving me infections

Have an appointment with the oral surgeon today… shit 2 years ago

I’ve had the referral to get my wisdom teeth out for roughly three and a half years but I just kept putting it off because I felt like I didn’t have the time with uni and work. Now I have the time (but not really the money) and one of my wisdom teeth is starting to poke through. If I don’t get this done asap, it will ruin all those years of orthodontics! 4 years ago

bubsatoriaPanoramic X-Ray

My xray is done and paid for. Now I’m waiting for my schedule for next week’s work so I can make a couple of appointments for consultations with oral surgeons next week or the week after. I want to get this done! Especially while I’m still covered on my parent’s insurance and living at home and can take off time from work very easily. 4 years ago

I have a dentist appointment in two weeks and I’m going to have a panoramic xray done and then make some appointments for a couple of oral surgeons. I’d like to meet them and go with the one I’m most comfortable with. I’m mostly worried about nerve damage. 4 years ago

I was with my cousin when she had hers out, and it didn’t look very fun. Also, I think my dentist might be crazy. 4 years ago
