Be as respectful of people behind their back as I am to their face

that’s right. no catty gossip. no shit-talk. OR, say the crappy thing I was going to say in private to their face. time to grow some cojones!

but seriously, I hope this will teach me to be more honest with people, and to let go of petty judgements.

I do this.. I am human I vent, moan, groan, and yes I bitch somtimes.. I am human and no perfection lives in me..
Still, I try to treat people the way I want to be treated with respect.. I treat them the same to their face as I do behind their back.. the only thing I do that is not like that..
Well, if Ihave just vented to my best friend about a coworker getting on my nerves.. that is my problem that is my attitude, and there is not reason to tell the coworker he is getting on my nerves, simply because the moon is full…
so in that case I guess I don’t do this.. I think that is a great acception to the rule..

It is easy to respect people behind their back as i am to their face.But it is difficult to treat people whom i dont respect , to do the same at their face as i do behind their back.

I know o person whom i frequently disrespect at his back,but i am polite on his face because of his position.i must stop this now.

1.Today some friend was praising a person who i know to be less than average.But i restrained myself from criticising him.But for this goal ,i would have tried to change my friend’s opinion.

on any of the dresses women wore to the Oscars. Because let’s face it, I would never go up to somebody and say, “Ugly dress!”

I was perfect on this one today!

Turns out I’m just a not a nice person. I don’t know why I thought I was.

This morning a co-worker was going to go present an proposal to some people, and I said that I didn’t think this one guy seemed very open to new ideas. As it turned out, I was completely wrong, and he was all over the new idea. When my friend was telling me how it went, she said, “I think you were wrong about him…” And of course I was. I was just so upset with myself. I felt like crying.

I did a better job the rest of the day. But it is just awful to realize how often I say negative things about people…things I would never say to their faces.

I wasn’t exactly being mean. Telling funny stories about someone who I find eccentric and charming. But really, if she had heard me tell those stories, I think she probably would not have appreciated it.

This is going to be hard!

I am now hoping that I get a golden opportunity to be disrespectful of someone behind their back, so that I can nobly decline to do so.

I’m going to try to pay a lot of attention to it in the next few weeks.
