I am going to sign up for fitness classes this quarter and try to take 3 really intense classes and 2 times a week do a stretching or walking type class. I think it will help me become healthier, lose weight and think more clearly.

Ok…yesterday was the first day in this. I went up to Nashville to visit a friend and we walked the mile path around one of the parks there. If everyday could be that easy, but, alas, I know I need to do more extensive type exercises to get into shape. So today, when I get home from work, I plan to really work out. I hope it goes well and I can stay motivated…

Starting January 4th, I’m going to go to exercise 5 times a week. Whether it’s going to the gym every weekday afternoon, or just going for a jog. I’m going to stop being lazy and start getting healthier. My starting goal is until summer starts, but I’m hoping I can do it all through out 2009.

Once, I exercised five days each week for 30-60 minutes. I felt great and, with a little care with food, lost 20+ lbs. Somehow I just lost motivation, gained back the weight and feel unmotivated, bloated and tired. Tomorrow is November 1, so I’m going to start a new month with an old habit, excercising for 30 minutes each day, and see if I can keep it up for 1 month!

This summer
I have a few goals, and this works into them all.
Goal 1: lose weight.
Goal 2: Lower my cholesterol.
Goal 3: Have something to do during my unemployed summer
Goal 4: Make some money
So what I’ve been doing is 5 days a week, every weekday, I spend at least 2 hours walking around my town, collecting lost change I find on the ground. (God I’ve become my mother). It seems funny, but you won’t be laughing when you hear that I’ve found about $50 so far. It isn’t much, but it is like getting paid to work-out.

If I didn’t work at the Y, I highly doubt I would be so committed, but as soon as I get off work I change into some work out clothes and go at it. Working out 5 times a week makes you feel good about your body and helps you maintain focus and energy throughout your week. I take off Thursdays and Saturdays, which are also the two days I get to sleep in, so there’s no hard feelings. :)

Yep I joined a gym and have been committing after work Monday-Friday to my exercise routine. I can tell that I am a lot stronger, as this is my 4th week. It really has become a habit and it is not that bad. I think it is safe to say that you will not like working out, but a 30 minute kick your ass routine will make you feel good about yourself every day after it is over. I am not looking forward to the day 30 minutes is not enough to keep in shape.. I hope that day never comes because 30 minutes is just fine thank you!

Horrible. I came back into town from being at home, and only went 2 times. I did start school, rehearsals, a new job, and had interviews for another job, but alas, NO EXCUSES.
I started off the week right though, and went full out yesterday. So here’s hoping…

5 times this week! YAY! Even when I really didn’t want to, I did. I also enlisted the help of Artsy, who talked me into going yesterday. She’s the BEST!
