Not far but at least I rode. The weather is getting nicer so I can start thinking about making this a higher priority.

since this goal has made it as a random posted goal on 43things – complete with my icon.
This is one of my goals that I’ve done very well on. I’ve been an avid mtn biker for years, but I hadn’t been riding much for several months. For the last month and a half, I’ve been back to riding on average of 4 days per week. My fitness level is finally getting back to where it was.
Well, it’s part of an adventure race and I’d love to do it. I’m not really in shape for it but it would be such good fun. Should I just go and know that I will not perform well, or should I just go and be a spectator? Help!!
After a long winter of crappy weather spent on the trainer, finally a sunny day and I’m off to hit the hills. Plan is three hills (about 3×600m or so of climbing), but we’ll see what my legs and lungs think about that idea :)
ubadb0y is working at home
sitting in my house goign no where, feel guilty so i need to use it MUCH more, trouble is i ride 3+ times a week in the spin studio teaching class, PLUS it cold man, real cold.
i thnk i need to get my GF a bike then we can at least go together?
I had put new handlebars on my bike and they feel so much better. I’m not so cramped when riding. They seem to make it easier to breathe. Now I just need to ride more often. How simple that seems, and yet how hard it has been to accomplish.
I need to start with short rides to get my muscles used to the exercise. It’s different than riding a road bike. I would like to put a suspension seatpost on the bicycle to compensate for not having full suspension. At least it will help soften the bumps.
I love riding my bike and want to become more proficient at riding different types of terrain.
