learn to play the lap harp

I bought myself a lap harp for Christmas (a TK O’Brien). I love that you can purchase music sheets that sit beneath the strings and show you exactly how to play a song. They make it simple for even a beginner to play as soon as she picks up the instrument.

It makes me wonder why the lap harp isn’t used more often in elementary schools as an introduction to music and instruments. I think it would be perfect, and perhaps even easier than learning the recorder! 4 years ago
