Want to grow old with J love of my life 9 months ago

My partner and I have been in a relationship since school, in 2001. We meet during a year 9 maths session. Maybe not love at first sight but there was a lot of mild flirting.
We have been engaged for 3 years and are due to be married on July 14th and hope to continue are lives together.

I have added this goal but by the time I complete it I will be old, frail and to scared of technology to log in and mark as done.

We’re having a house full of family today to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary.

June 2010- I have plans to marry my blessing- chosen just for me. Nothing bug God Himself can keep this party from happening! I’m not 100% positive but I think my family and friends are more excited than we are!
The dresses have been purchased, and final alternations are being done. The suits are with the tailors, and they are befitting of the handsome men that will sport them. The venue has been selected and paid in full. Flowers have been selected, arch décor agreed upon. Food and spirits will be plentiful! Shoes, are not needed as the sand will be our carpet.
Only thing left to do, is meet us on the beach at sunset, it’s going down! 3 years ago

Life is never simple – it never turns out exactly as you expect, you meet fall in love and somehow life itself gets in the way.
I am lucky to be with someone that no matter how fustrated I get with her – I still love her.
She puts up with all my funny ways and I have learnt at 50 that two people in a relationship need to be themselves.
Its a hard lesson because human nature is always to change the other person to your way of thinking.
Is that love – no its not.
Accepting your partner is possible when Love is the foundation.
