see a desert flash-flood

I signed up for a jeep “flood-hunt” this weekend!!

If the wheather is right and the hunt goes well – I may acomplish a longtime dream!!

The stories of the power of a desert flash flood, a wall of water tearing up trees and rolling giant boulders, have always amazed me. I hear it is possible to see one from relative safetey. I would love to do this at least once in my lifetime… 7 years ago
