I finally completed my list. I can’t believe it took 6 months. I stalled out at about 34 songs. And I’ve discovered a few new faves in the last few months. So here it is: http://www.alice-anderson.com/2011/03/43-songs-that-brighten-my-day/ 2 years ago

Late night waiting by the phone
Tonight waiting for an answer
Heartbeat drumming double time
I need one more chance to be near you
Still hanging on for what?
Can’t operate fired up
I won’t eat and i won’t sleep for you yeah
No rest till i get through
‘cause i’m holding out for you
Am i the only one who’s insane?
Hey you’re playing with my delirium
And the longer i wait the harder i’m gonna fall
Stop playing with my delirium
‘cause i’m outta my head and outta my self-control
Still here in this quiet room
Deep in delusion sending me over
Outside watch the world go by
Inside time stands still as i wonder
Still hanging on for what?
Can’t operate fired up
I won’t eat and i won’t sleep for you yeah
No rest till i get through
‘cause i’m holding out for you
Am i the only one who’s insane?
Hey you’re playing with my delirium
And the longer i wait the harder i’m gonna fall
Stop playing with my delirium

Little Darlin it’s been a long cold and lonely winter, little darlin it feels like years since you’ve been here
Little darlin the smiles have returned to the faces now little darlin it seems like years since you’ve been here

With 43 down it is time to retire this goal. I can’t say any of these are my all time favorite just cause they are all so good. At times I am in the mood for a particular song over another. I expect to add to this list or perhaps start a new one in the future. This is also my 100th completed or fulfilled goal. 4 years ago

I can’t say it any better. Life is too short to waste a second on negativity and foulness in the world. Celebrate the good in life and miracle of what it is to live. Remove those from your life that thrive on slime and bitterness and seek out the good people who will help you to bloom and grow. What a wonderful world! 4 years ago

Classic motivational song. If this song doesn’t get your butt off the couch and doing something positive, call the morgue you are either dead or should be. Great tempo and lyrics Eminem is a preacher of the streets. 4 years ago
