today i am working on laundry, laundry, more laundry. then i’m going to do some cleaning downstairs. sweeping the front halls and the kitchen then wash the floors. tidy the bathroom downstairs as well.
at some point i need to work on folding and putting away all this laundry i have been washing. mountains of clean laundry is just to hard to work with lol!
we are all still sick. i can’t seem to get this cough under control. i took a dose of a garlic clove minced added to a tablespoon of honey again today at the suggestion of a friend as a good way to boost my immune system.
God please give me the strength i need to do what i need to today! 3 years ago

im so unorganized. i have so many things to get done and it feels like i get maybe one thing done. i am overwhelmed by it all. i am hoping that by trying to make a schedule and focusing on organizing that i can get things under control. i need to get on top of the laundry and the clutter. so here’s to day 1 of focusing on being organized ;) 3 years ago

MarcellaBThe Top Five!

It feels really good to get things done. Granted, I’m not working off of a written schedule for every day, but there is a general list of priorities and that has made a big difference.

So far, here’s what’s working: keep the list small, so things don’t get overwhelming. I call it The Top Five.

As things get done, old stuff drops off the list and new priorities rotate on to the list. Pretty simple. And I totally need simple in my life! But…I’m not calling this goal achieved until it’s more of a habit, heh. 4 years ago

MarcellaBProgress

Last night, just before sleeping, I made a point of writing down 3-4 priorities for today, one with a time limit, a Before 3PM kind of thing, and I’m already feeling more productive. After doing a few items, I knew what I really needed to do, and what could wait until tomorrow. I’m thinking that a before bedtime short list of tomorrow’s tasks might be an easy way to start getting a more organized schedule. Not to mention feeling better about my day in general. 4 years ago

MarcellaBThe Basics

I’m not going for a minute by minute breakdown type of schedule here. I just want to narrow things down to the main priorities for the week and go from there. I can add details after I’ve gotten a regular routine.

I actually have plenty of time in my day, I just have so many things I want to do. I end up pushing back my bedtime to try to do more and then I wake up late the next day because of it. I want to at least feel like I’m getting things done. 4 years ago

There’s something wrong with my clock :p

MrBlondThe Board

I’ve been trying.
I have one board where I schedule my activities. And I have a score, for all the things I do the score grows. I’m good now, but only the days to know. 5 years ago

HellabunnyNeeds Some Serious Work!

I have been just terrible toward this goal. I will start fresh now, by making my list for tomorrow and reviewing it before I go to bed this evening. 5 years ago

thepeteAnother day, largly wasted

Ugh—this is getting to be an annoying habit! I wake up with the express intent to complete my to-do list (which is efficiently streamlined) and despite the fact that it has 7 simple things on it , I didn’t even hit the first item. 5 years ago
