My life has been a living hell, but like the Phoenix, I’ve come up from the ashes yet again. I learned about gluten and casein sensitivities, and have lost 35 pounds this year. I have thirty five more to go, but it is a blast to feel and look better. I am a Reiki Teacher and energy worker, and have made great strides in my self-esteem, bounds of confidence, and now get more dates than I can keep up with. It’s an exciting time. 3 weeks ago

I did my measurements last night and I’m down one inch! I’ve lost one inch off of my hips and one inch off each thigh. My waist is still about the same, but I expected that to come off slower. I haven’t cared as much about my actual weight as my measurements. I’m so happy to see progress though! 3 months ago

I started working on my weight loss/fitness goal yesterday with some light exercise and watching my food intake (counting the calories of my normal intake). I’m using caloriecount.com and the caloriecount app to keep up with things. I actually don’t consume that much, I just don’t exercise. It’s nice to be able to see everything laid out though. This week, I’m eating normally, but adding exercise. Then next week I’ll concentrate more on creating at least a 500 calorie deficit. Calorie count also helps you monitor your water and nutrient intake, which is very helpful. I don’t just want to lose weight, I want to eat healthier and BE healthier. And also I refuse to walk around the beach again with thick legs and a fluffy gut ;) 4 months ago
