matahina... after baby comes.
I was starting rock climbing and jogging two miles before getting preggers, so this is just to remind me to get back to it after recovering from baby’s arrival. Excited to feel the rush of fitness again! 4 months ago

As soon as I’ve gotten rid of my back-problem, I will move on to this goal.
I am working on it, but very very slowly – can’t jump around or climb the stairs because of my back :-( 2 years ago
From wikipedia (I cut out the not interesting parts):
Physical fitness: a state of health and well-being.
Physical fitness is generally achieved through exercise, correct nutrition and enough rest. It is an important part of life. In previous years, fitness was commonly defined as the capacity to carry out the day’s activities without undue fatigue. However, as automation increased leisure time, changes in lifestyles following the industrial revolution rendered this definition insufficient.
These days, physical fitness is considered a measure of the body’s ability to function efficiently and effectively in work and leisure.
This fits the definition in my head pretty well. What I want to achieve is to have a body that can handle my day to day activities without getting tired or soar.
When I was younger I could take the stairs without problems, I could run around all day without being exhausted and I was in general much stronger. I played around, I went swimming and all that stuff – moving around was a natural part of my daily life and I didn’t have to make an effort to do it.
I want to be able to play around with my kids (when I get kids that is) without being exhausted, I want to have a sex-life that is not limited by my getting exhausted.
I want to get back to the shape I was in before I got sick. Months of staying in bed and after that having a car for a year made me so much weaker and I’ve really started to feel that it is a disadvantage in my daily life.
What to do?
I have to be realistic and think about the problem with my legs, some of this things may not be posible right now. Hopefully my legs/back/butt will be as good as new in a couple of month and then I can work harder towards this goal.
Can’t really think about anything else right now… 2 years ago
Went running twice this week … not far, but I’m out of practice … and worked with my weights too. Hopefully I can keep it up. I should go out running now, but don’t want to face the downpour going on outside! 2 years ago

thinking about having a trainer once a week, so i can get some structure and time out and work towards getting fit. 3 years ago
swimming been going pretty well, did over a mile on Sunday, but didn’t want to go yesterday. Don’t know what is up with me at the moment, but I’m exhausted, and keep getting out of breath, and my joints have been aching. Have loads of back pain too. Just really down and out of character. Hoping its just post exams and exam result stress, but hopefully I will get back up to speed soon enough. 3 years ago
