pass my driving test

I have my driving test booked for the 18th November 2009. I have been learning since July and really want and need to pass. I got a lot better and thought I was ready, now I took a lesson today and feel like i’m going backwards. I have particular problems with roundabouts, so i have to practise.
I will pass if I focus on passing I know, its just hard to keep faith.

I was meant to have my driving test on 30th September 2009 and as I was waiting in the test centre, everyone who was in there got called except me. I was really worried anyway about the test but that made it worse! One of the instructors came out of the office and called my name. I started to get up when they told me my test was cancelled as the instructor who was supposed to be doing my test had to walk back from his previous appointment and was late! I was so upset and angry, and another instructor (whose pupil was doing the test) asked if I could do my test when the instructor got back, but they said it would put everyones test out of place and was not worth the fuss.

I was so upset I couldn’t drive back home so I had my instructor take me back. My test is now re-booked and I’m claiming money back for the inconvenience and the time I had off work, but I’m still quite frustrated that I could have been driving by now! But fingers and toes and everything crossed that this time, my test will go well.

P.S. My mum’s first test was cancelled as well, bit strange if you ask me!

I have officially had 10 hours worth of driving lessons. I am living in Aberdeen for the first year of Uni and having to catch the bus to visit my parents which is becoming steadily more annoying. My aim is to pass my test by the time I move back in the summer – not unachievable – so I put it here to remind myself that I can’t lose sight of this goal amongst everything else. That and mum has hinted that an Alpha could be waiting at home if I do :)

uugh i just failed it for the second time today.
i feel like giving up

I realised the other day that it’s been 5 years since I got my provisional license. I haven’t actually been learning to drive for all that time (mainly because I go through long periods where I just get sick of it and take a step back to focus on the rest of my life), but even so, I never thought that I would still be a learner 5 years later.

It’s now been over a year since I last got behind the wheel of a car, and if I don’t pass my test before May then I’ll have to do the theory test again. I really don’t want to do that.

My boyfriend has just bought his first car and insured me on it. He’s going to take me out practising in it and then I’m going to find an instructor so I can do the test.

I really, really hope that I won’t be stuck with this goal much longer.

This is a long term goal as I think I have enough other things I want to do at the moment and lessons are sooooo expensive.

I have failed once. I need to do this before it eats all my money.

Booked a lesson to start my driving lessons again.. hope i stick to it this time because i need to pass for xmas!

After learning to drive for over a year with a six month break and various other breaks in between, i really really want to pass my test before the end of the year.

Passed my theory test last month, now just the practical test to go
