feel better than ever  — 5 days ago

Worth doing!

For the past month I have been training for a sprint triathlon, working out 5-6 days a week. I plan to complete my 1st race in the October, if I am ready. Swimming is the hardest part, need to quit smoking.

I'm lazy...  — 1 month ago

But I’m trying to change this.. I’m not the person who’s very sporty… but I want to have a better and healthier lifestyle and, ofcourse, lose some weight…
I started joining weight wacthers… first step! Healthy foor, lots of water, you get the deal…
I’m in my 2nd week of working out regulary! AT least 3 to 4 times a week. Walking, running, fitness,... as long as there’s sweat involved, I’m happy!

I’ll keep you guys uptdated!

1000% worth it  — 2 months ago

Worth doing!

I’ve been working out regularly since April and it has been 100% worth it. Going to the gym has become part of my routine. I am sleeping better, and I notice a significant difference in my energy levels on the days I work out. I still have a long way to go in terms of my fitness goals, but I’ve gotten into the habit of working out regularly. I hope to keep up the habit for life. :)

This was a Nike billboard in NYC. I’m very much an ‘I’ll do it tomorrow’ person, so it rung true for me :)

Worth doing!

I started working out again in April (initially just cardio) and have been doing pretty well with this. When I got back to my parents’ house for the summer at the end of April I joined a gym right away so I could continue with the regular workouts. I started adding weights back in last week.

I have days where I don’t feel like going but one of my friends has been helping me stay motivated, and I’ve been reminding myself of how great I feel post-workout. I basically schedule in my workouts and treat them like any other appointment or commitment and just do them. I think sometimes that’s just what you have to do at the beginning…and then it gets a bit easier. I never regret working out after it’s done.

into another workout? Yep. I thought the HipHop Abs workout looked like something that might be enjoyable and fun. I forked out the money and I’m hoping it will help me tone up my soft middle.

I worked out today for the first time and it was a lot of fun. It was great cardio, good music, and worked my body. I’m hoping that tomorrow I’ll feel the work I put in today. I measured my body (arms, waist, legs, and chest)plus weighed myself, and in one week I want to see if it makes a difference. I plan on eating better this week and laying off any sweets or food I don’t really need to eat. My calories need to stay below 1800 and that should be pretty easy.

Getting off my Ass  — 7 months ago

Worth doing!

I’ve been to easy on myself, and it is time to get in great shape again. For the past year I have been so inconsistent with my diet and workout routine. I need to lose about 30lbs, and I’m tired of making it hard on myself. In 2001 I dropped my weight over a year from 365 to a bottom out of 220. (All natural) I worked out consistently from that point on, but when I got the 8-5 it went down hill. I’m up to 260 right now, and on a good week I’ll work out 3 days. Three months and 30lbs is my goal. I will make this happen. Goodluck and stay strong my fit friends.

I started doing this, then went home to my parents’ house for the holidays and stopped again. Starting Monday, I’m getting back on track!
