I lost 50 lbs last year, after gaining 60, so I’m 10 lbs away from my original weight, but I think it’s more than numbers. I don’t want to focus so much on a goal pant size or a goal weight on the scale, I want to improve my eating habits (eat more, eat right, etc, not just 1 or 2 not-so-smart meals a day) and continue to work out like I used to. A big issue I’m going to have to get over is how bad my period affects me. Putting the emotional things aside when it’s that time of the month, I always eat so much junk food (food that I hate normally!) and DONT work out. I bleed pretty bad, and cramp pretty bad, but its 2010 – I have to realize that being fit and healthy is something that can’t be put on hold cause I’m bleeding.
Anyways, I stopped smoking last year, that helped a lot with my cardio. I got running down fine. What I want to work on mostly is toning up. Since I’m at home, I thnk I’ll start off with 100 jumping jacks a night, running as I can on the tredmill, and utilizing my brothers weights (I move back to Uni next week though, so then I’ll have a whole gym back).

I already dance 4 to 6 times a week, but it’s not enough anymore. I don’t feel as fit as I should be and I’m tired all the time. Time to clean out the old system and get back into working out. Can someone tell me how to make working out fun???? I’ve tried EVERYTHING to make it fun, but I just can’t get into it.
I’m gonna keep up with it this time!

think back when you used to work out and good it felt and how you loved yourself. not only did i feel good, but my self confidence was present as well. Just stay motivated, my motivational tool is that one day i will find the right girl for me, until i love myself she will not come into my life!!! So start it and stay at it.

I used to work out pretty regularly as a kid. Part of that was being in school teams and a swim club outside of school. They don’t seem to have as much of this in college. I suppose it’s due to the fact that more people are working on their career. But I want to be able to better myself both career-wise and physically. I’m going to make a goal to run around my neighborhood area a couple times every week. I think this’ll be a good start.

Gym Membership

Just bought a monthly gym membership. Hopefully the month reminder on my Visa bill will keep me motivated to workout.
