Well, I found a nice company that I would like to do the will for me. But it will cost £400 and they recommend I do it jointly with my partner. He is not interested, so not sure what to do now….
I know what I want to write so maybe I should just find another company closer to home…
On the list of things to do, let’s hope I stay alive a long time yet!! 9 months ago

I picked up some leaflets about making a will and they have been sat on my ‘to do’ pile for several years now! 9 months ago

passed it onto my hubby for review and then need to get it signed by witnesses. Possibly seen by a lawyer friend too.
FEELS GOOD to be moving forward on this.
Really, the main points I wanted to establish were assigning an executor and guardianship of children. 10 months ago

Because you never know when you’ll need it. I’m only 29, and while I do plan to live until I’m quite old, you never know, and I want all my affairs taken care of. 11 months ago

...whether it’s worth me doing this anymore? I have no assets :(
Originally I wanted to make a will to ensure my daughter would be cared for by my parents if I died. She’s now practically an adult so this wouldn’t be an issue.
If I died now I would want my ex- husband to raise my children, I don’t think I need a will to state that.
Can anyone think of a particular reason I should make one in that case?! 13 months ago

I’ve no intention of popping my clogs yet but at almost 30 and knowing people younger than me that have died I suppose I should do this just in case, for the family and what-not. 15 months ago

with an attorney last night to find out what it intales. He quoted us $1,500 to draft up a will, power of attorney and living will for each of us. Is the price absurd considering i could probably do it on line for FREE? I am thinking it is just the cost for living in NY. Has anyone else done this recently? 23 months ago
