I began by watching and following the podcast, Yogamazing. Chaz offers a nice combination of physical poses combined with a mild spiritual outlook. He might be more spiritual than in the casts. I don’t know. I do know that his descriptions, instructions, and videos are really good. He makes it easy to understand and practice the poses.
After following the podcast for about 18 months I went to a local yoga studio to get feedback from a live instructor. He complimented my on my poses and offered good feedback. I also took a workshop at a local church. It’s definitely useful to have a teacher check your poses.
About a year ago I began visiting Yogaville where I learned about the spiritual path of Yoga and how Hatha (the poses – the physical side of yoga) fits. Yogaville is a center of Integral Yoga, which combines all the yogic paths together. It’s also a great retreat center with excellent organic vegetarian meals.
I am not a yoga master. I do feel I have a grasp of the basics and I have a daily practice. 6 months ago
Does Yoga really control your anger and if it really does, how long does it take for it to be the norm for you when you can meditate and relax so you do not get angry often, even if people are walking all over you? 7 months ago
“Change is not something that we should fear. Rather, it is something that we should welcome. For without change, nothing in this world would ever grow or blossom, and no one in this world would ever move forward to become the person they’re meant to be.” 7 months ago

“One of the most beautiful and liberating aspects of yoga is that you don’t need any fancy equipment or a designated building or field to practice. Yoga is accessible. The practice meets you where you are – as long as you are willing to approach it.”

I’ve planed to shape up since my elementary…So it’s about time because I’ve finished my secondary school :O I’d like to start in September because I’ll be in Belgrade, working, hopefully :) Also, it will be useful to stress off a bit and concentrate on my always running thoughts… wish me luck!
I’m putting Anna Dello Russo on my cover because she looks great for her age, even better than me and she’s very successful! 9 months ago
Consider this an ongoing experience – I’ve learned a lot about yoga in the past six months, mostly by watching videos & using iPhone apps, coupled with free classes my university held.
Would still only consider myself a very beginner, and I was looking for good local classes before a wrist injury has kept me from doing any kind of hand exercise for a while. Looks like there’ll be no more intensive yoga until after surgery. 9 months ago
