leave a HUGE tip to a waitress or waiter

Until I start earning my own money.

It was the last night and since you cant exchange coin and we didnt have any smaller notes, we all just let the waitress keep the change and it put a BIG SMILE on her face.

on December 23rd, I went for lunch with a friend. The bill was about 40 bucks, and I left the waitress $20. I was in the Christmas spirit.

It was okay. I’ll never get out of debt doing these types of things. (see “get out of debt” goal)

on a $10 tab. Not exactly huge, but it’s far more than what was expected, I’m guessing.

I was in this nice restaurant, Au Rocher de Cancale (I like it upstairs, it’s calm and cozy) and I left without leaving a tip because I had no change. The waitress is lovely and I still wonder why I didn’t leave a huge tip? Next time.

As a former waitress and reciever of such tips, I have to say that it can really make someone’s day… and thre are days when that one great customer keeps you going when you’re ready to walk out!

on a $5 tab. I didn’t wait for the waiter to come back, either. As soon as he left the check, I slipped the bill into the little folder and walked out.

To be honest, I don’t know why I did it. He wasn’t a spectacular waiter, but he wasn’t bad, either. I didn’t think he was cute, he didn’t have a tragic life story. I just felt like doing it. So I did.

Its a great way to bless someone who could be having a bad day or maybe just having a rough time. I would want someone to do this to me if i was a waitress. And I’m sure it is a hard job anyway.

I had a beer in a little hotel bar while waiting for a to-go order. The bartender was very nice and working very hard to keep everyone happy. I got my order finished my beer and slipped out quietly, leaving a $100.00 bill. I loved the feeling that I might have made someones night. I would do this again!

i work in a restaraunt as a server so i’m hypped to do this…can’t wait…i’m dangling on the edge of my seat…in anticipation…
