I mean, if I really cared about writing about the books I read, I’d do it. It’s time to cut some of these “do this daily” and “do these every” items out of my life. I think they lead to depression. Why create dumb goals just to feel bad for not doing them? I’ve read hundreds of books that I didn’t write about, and I’m still alive.

about this goal.
Okay, the last book I read was Like Life, a collection of short stories by Lorrie Moore. She is awesome. Her stories are funny and yet very sad. She’s very cynical. I want to write like her. She did inspire me to start a new short story.

which makes me think to continue doing this but also as ready to be considered as done. I write my oppinions, my feelings towards the book, describe the characters and the plot and write the quotes I found interesting and inspiring. I think it´s allready a habbit.a good one.

Í think this is a great goal because of many reasons:
1.I can practice my writing and expressing my thoughts through words
2.I can read it later to remember something I forgot
3.it will make me think even more about the book after reading it
now I need to find a nice journal and start writing

I bought a Book Journal and started keeping it, but I have procrastinated recently. Must not let the purchase be a wasteful one.

It is now habit to, every time I finish a book, collect some thoughts and record them to the LJ community (1000_books) I created.

Writing about a book I read makes me actually think about it, taking me to another comprehension level. I’ve done this twice so far – one entry about Madame Bovary and another about O primo Basílio (“Cousin Basílio”, by Eça de Queiroz, Portuguese writer).

Unfortunatelly, they’re all in Portuguese… But this is my hint: weblogging is the best option for this goal. You write about it, your friends read, comment, and they get really pissed if you don’t write any entries in a long time.
