JeremySazonPlanning & Using Time

lately I’ve been waking up early in the morning knowing that I have a lot of stuff to get done but I tend to take the lazy rout and fall back asleep until 11am – 1pm. I want to be more productive with my days so I will set a schedule with the things that has to be done along with the time it needs to be finished. so now its all about taking the initiative and discipline of getting out of bed every morning at 6am and getting things done.

Lets see how this goes! 3 weeks ago

jubilent12330/30 timer

I downloaded a really amazing app called the 30/30 work timer, and it’s just so simple but so amazing at keeping me productive. The principle is a certain period of time working, then a certain period of time resting. Anyway, search it up, because it really does work!!! 3 weeks ago

DreadieSunNo motivation!

I just can’t get motivated to do my A-level work, like, I actually hate it. I always just end up wanting to watch TV or eat or hang out with people…any tips for motivation? :(( 4 weeks ago

beroaStill working at it

I ended up breaking my rules yesterday, personal issues and life stuff and stress just made me depressed and I didn’t care at all, so I spent all of yesterday doing absolutely nothing. But those things happen. Starting today feeling better and sticking to my plans. 2 months ago

beroaMarch 2013

Before I decided on this as a “goal”, there had to be a way to measure it. So I created productivity rules, and these are my goals for the month of March. My reward for completing this is to order the Mashimarro sweater. _ Productivity equals completing homework assignments, working on artwork or practicing, cleaning, and doing obvious things like going grocery shopping and such. So I do these things every day of the week, and I am allowed to do something fun on Saturdays. Fun things equal logging onto Facebook, Tumblr, and dA, surfing the internet in general, watching TV and movies, playing video games, etc. But I am not allowed any of these fun things except for Saturday. That is how I will measure my goal. It has been going well so far! So here’s to a hopefully successful month. 2 months ago

Lcee09Today - Getting Back on Track

This weekend has been awful. Sure, the snow canceling school was pretty nice, but I have been lax about getting homework done, eating well, or exercising. I also messed up my sleep schedule by staying up until 2 or 3 every morning and then sleeping until 10 or 11. So, today I’m going to get back on track by eating better from the get-go and getting things done before work this afternoon. Here’s a quick run down of things that NEED to be done today.

1. Finish English Essay (due Wednesday)
2. Read for Human Development class (due tomorrow)
3. Clean floors (especially with all of the melted snow on the floor)
4. Clean bathroom
5. Read for Women & Health Sociology class (due Wednesday)
6. Read for English (due Wednesday)
7. Take out trash & recycling

The first two are definitely in order, but the rest can be done out of order. I may use cleaning as a study break. 3 months ago

Lcee09Blizzard!

Well, yesterday I was productive in the craft department and finished an afghan, started mittens, and started cutting squares for a new quilt, but I haven’t done much of my homework for Monday yet. I’m about to dig my car out of the snow (as much as I can without a shovel) and then work on homework. 3 months ago

joyfulsilencesSnowed in!

It’s snowing feet of snow here in New England and it’s a sure bet I won’t be able to leave the house tomorrow. I have SO much I need to do at home, and have two options here: I can lay around all day and watch TV and be a slug, or I can actively tackle my To-Do list and feel fantastic about my great productivity. Obviously I’m hoping for the later. So after all the shoveling and digging out I’m going to pour whatever is left of my energy into getting stuff done! 3 months ago
