ChalmseyMusic

SooooOOO worth it. Moving is hard enough with books and clothes and such. Much easier when there aren’t 100 CD’s too.
Make sure to back that shit up, though. If your HDD crashes and all of your music is gone, you’ll wish you had a backup. 18 months ago

kmarHidden Gems

I’m finding some hidden gems…Music I haven’t heard in a while, including the entire PAVEMENT catalog(!) (I heart them), Laurent Garnier, DJ Krush, my TOTALLY AWESOME collection of new wave compilation CDs, Sloan, and Earth Wind & Fire. More to come as I get to them. 2 years ago

kmarAnd so it begins...

I LOVE music. So much so that when I can’t find a CD, I’ll re-purchase the digital version. Not a wise financial strategy… So, I’m finally going through all of my music and going digital. It’s amazing to go through the CDs—lots of memories stored therein. And, interestingly, music that was so important at a certain time turns out to have not aged well; it’s liberating to pay a fond farewell to some of the musical interlopers.

That said, I still have a LONG way to go before this task is complete. 2 years ago
