play electric guitar

it took me a few months, but I got some free lessons from an old friend of mine for trade with some recording help and stuff.

I hadn’t been picking up the guitar until I started with the lessons. I highly recommend getting lessons if you can and of course if you can pay in trade then great!

I got a bass guitar. I am learning where each note is, then when I get a full six string electric I can use that knowledge there. 4 years ago

i managed to purchase an electric guitar from a friend who was selling- she actually gave me the guitar, amp, a cd on how to play it and a strap, all for £100, which personally i think was a great offer. now it just needs tuning, and i’m ready to start learning. wish me luck!! :)

Ordered a Epiphone SG Junior starter pack for $255AU and will be arriving in couple of weeks, so once I get it I can start rocking 5 years ago

You’ll never regret learning to play electric guitar. Buy a nice little practice amp. Buy a guitar that feels, sounds and looks good. Buy the best you can afford. Get some lessons. Be brave! Start playing with other people very early on. Don’t be too judgemental. Explore. Write songs straight away. Record them. Enjoy playing simple things. Avoid playing with nit picky hyper critical people. Develop your own style. Play what you like. 6 years ago

I took guitar for a year but I never got really deep into it all. Just basic melody lines and such. I am determined to one day be able to create the sound that I hear that gives me such intense emotion that I can feel all the way into the depths of my soul. Music is one of my greatest passions and I use what I know. But to be able to fully express the intensity to me would be completely exhilarating. 6 years ago

love it! its very satisfying…. but what i find more satisfying is the acoustic guitar… you can really woe a girl over if you play her a nice song with it. 6 years ago
