My father’s native tongue! My aunt can speak a little. It is a hard language to learn. Goal: by the time I’m 30, have at least some understanding about the language. I better get crackin’. 5 years ago
(Cheers!/To your health!)
My great grandma speaks it fluently (born there).

Not doing too much about this project recently. But we are going to Lithuania (girlfriend and I) for Xmas and New Years Eve, so time to pick it up again. Being there means learning the language, but still it would be nice to do some real work as well. 5 years ago

Well, I’ve wanted to do this for years and I’m not getting any younger. I would like to learn Lithuanian and then travel there since my paternal grandfather and great grandfather came to the US from Naumiestes, Lithuania. I need to do more genealogical research also before my trip. I’m not sure if I should buy the pimsleur program or not. Any advice appreciated! 6 years ago
