I purchased one of the updated Callanetics dvds from Amazon (this one, specifically). Workout videos make me sleepy so I haven’t used it since the first viewing.

SO then I bought one of the callanetics books (10 years younger in 10 hours I believe it’s called) which is easier to follow for me than the dvd at this point. I did it a couple times last week and felt great but then the weather got supercold and now I just feel like laying around and eating chocolate and bread.

Since finals are over this week and I have two weeks until winter session, I’m going to attempt to follow the callanetics program for at LEAST 3 times a week until I start school again, and hopefully I can maintain the momentum this time.

I tried on my dress and feel great wearing it-I will continue my callenetics and have decided that I do not need to buy Spanx to wear under it-YEAH!

I learned some of the basic exercises from the videos and have been starting my day with her warm up body stretch, neck stretches, 100 arm exercises, then I do 100 of these thigh scoops, 100 each of 3 different ab exercises…I actually feel my body changing. Yeah! Maybe I won’y need spanx for my dress!

I have been so tired and a bit sore from the workouts, but I managed to throw in my pm calanetics workout the past 2 days…

okay, I did my behind and hips 20 minute workout today and I feel it ;) maybe I will do some abs before I go to bed…

completed my calanetics tape for stomach (20 mins) and was really motivated so I also did the tape for behind and hips (20 mins)- I FEEL IT!

It really works 2 years ago

I have done callanetics off and on over the past year and whenever I do 20 mins of her exercises, I feel great. The results are fantastic, but I need to commit to being consistent. I have an event on August 25th where I will be wearing a very body conscious dress, so I am motivated to do this! I will do a minimum of 3 times a week and hopefully will do it daily for the next 25 days!

I have done this before but I put it as a new goal as I wanted to get back to doing it again but I’m now part of a keep track of what I’m eating and do some exercise team so I don’t need this goal taking up precious space ;)
