The kids rode their bikes to the park and I walked with them. It was good exercise since the park is a good distnace away. I also walked the dog. 7 years ago
...which will free me up to go on more walks when the weather is nice. I walked for about 20 minutes today, which was plenty for me. 7 years ago
I was feeling restless, so I went for a walk. It was only about 20 minutes, but it was enough. That makes twice in about a month or so. It doesn’t sound like much, but normally it would be zero, so it’s progress. And it’s because I saw my goal on 43T and it reminded me that it was something I wanted to do.
(Unfortunately, the other thing that I often do when feeling restless is hang up clean laundry, so consequently that didn’t get done this time!) 7 years ago
I haven’t gone on a single walk since I added this goal. Now that the kids are going to be out of school for the summer, it’s unlikely I’ll find the time to do this, unless I walk with them, which means I won’t receive the intended benefits. #1 I’ll be walking more slowly and it won’t be good exercise, and #2 I won’t have any peace and quiet and thinking time. 8 years ago
