Several things to take in to consideration; it may sound like fun, different or interesting but it’s pretty important to not have any inhibitions about being naked in front of a room full of complete strangers. It’s also a good idea to do some practice. I mean try out different poses in front of a full length mirror, not erotic poses but poses that highlight you and your body. These are artists who will be drawing you, they are looking for shapes, forms and emotions that can be expressed by your pose. 5 months ago

An artist has asked me to pose nude for him, which i will be doing in a few days. We have met to discuss the process and he also showed me what his composition will be etc. He will initially take photos of me in the poses we have talked about (he usually has the scene ‘set’ as it were)...Having never done anything like this before, I would greatly appreciate any advice anyone can give me about plucking up the courage on the day, etc and also any other tips. My main fear is that my figure wont be what he perhaps imagined…anyway. Any help anyone can give would be GREAT. 12 months ago

I’ve decided I’m definitely going to do this in 2011. It’s another part of “stepping out of my comfort zone”. The idea of doing it terrifies me and I like that. We should all do more things that terrify us. I don’t even like being naked at home by myself so this should definitely be interesting.

My goal is to do it late spring or early summer. Warmer days are better for being naked! 13 months ago
