If you have any questions, I would be glad to answer them! A girlfriend and I traveled cross country for 3 weeks in August 2011 and it was amazing!! We starting in NJ and hit the following points/cities: Chicago, Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone National Park, Seattle, WA, the Redwoods, San Francisco, LA, Grand Canyon National Park, Route 66, and Dallas. We would have hit New Orleans, Nashville, Charleston, SC, and Virginia, but my road trip partner’s Dad passed away. We jetted home straight from Dallas to NJ with a hotel stop in Memphis. I can give all sorts of points on various campgrounds, bars, dinner spots, music spots, transportation around various cities, cheap hotel choices, budgeting you’ll need to do, food to bring with, and sites to see. Do this when and while you can!! 4 months ago

In June 2008, my brother and his friends who just graduated HS set out to cross the country. We bought a minivan because if we rented a minivan they would nomt have been allowed to drive.
We left from newtown PA and headed south. Through Virginia into Tennessee and then to new Orleans, Galveston, San Antonio, new Mexico, Vegas and then San Diego.
We made t-shirts called the Keys to Life Tour. It was great time and we eventually sold the minivan for $2000 loss right as the e anomy tanked. 2 years ago

My sister just graduated from Berkeley and was accepted into Brown University to get her Ph.D in physics. She, her roommate, my best friend, and I, will be accompanying her as she drives her car from my house in Long Beach to her new place in Providence. On our way, we plan to stop in several major cities across the south—which I’ve never been to—and we plan to visit three national parks, and hopefully stop in DC. We leave in 11 days! 2 years ago
