Sanareth is hungry...
I’m determined to become bilingual. That way I can learn more about otheer cultures. Also, I’m completely obsessed with Germany!
I know a little but I want to have a fluent German and to be able of understand a usual conversation without say 300 times ‘Was?’ :P
Im half German, my mother is fluent, and I really, really want to learn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! any tips?
I’m also going on an exchange, in november, and really need to improve my german!
I’m in my 4th year learning german at high school, but i’ve had a pretty bad teacher up until the start of this year.
A few weeks ago i bought a lonely planet german book, and at the moment am trying to memorise every useful phrase in there.
I have already taken first year German at my university and I feel as though I have made great progress. I want to continue on with learning this language. Also my boyfriend is German so I have a helping hand x)
I really have to learn a lot more German, and soon. I’m a 2nd year german student in highschool, and I need badly to learn more German, quickly because i’ll be an exchange student soon. I’ll have a student with me for 6 months, then i’ll be in germany for 6 months… and she comes in 4 months.
I love languages, and German is one of only three langauges at my school, so I took it. I learned most of my German over the summer last year and through Rammstein songs. Needless to say, I now know how to say some pretty weird things (“du auf dem Schulhof, ich zum Töten bereit” – “you on the playground, I’m ready to kill”), but finding some bands you like really helps. My family came from Germany a bit before Hitler took over, but my family was ashamed of being German, so it wasn’t taught to the children. But I think German sounds cool, and, yes, slightly evil. If anybody wants to “auf Deutsch sprechen”, just contact me on here. I don’t know loads, but I can get by.
Just now i posted an advertisement on a website, looking for learning pal.
“After studing for 4 years my german still sux, big time, but i’m hoping it’s not TOO late to catch up. I’m thinking of taking a course at Goethe Institute, meanwhile i’d like to find a couple of german natives, preferably female, to practice with. We could do language exchange. I live in the westcity district, so it’d be better if you live somewhere close, Shuang’an area is fine too i guess, depending on whether i take the course at GI. I’ve tried this language exchange thing a couple of times but it never worked out due to different reasons. I’m planning to do some serious learning so please only reply if you want the same. ciao”
Let’s hope i will get some replies. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!
I’ve learnt german for four years yet i can hardly speak any.it was my bachelor’s major for Christ’s sake. I seriously need to learn more german. i’d want to live in germany for a while, that should be the best way to learn the language but since that won’t be able to happen very soon i guess i will have to attend a course, maybe in Goethe institute.
Ich spreche ein bischen Deutsch aber…habe Ich viel vergessen. Ich lernte fur vier jahren in Schule, es war acht Jahren schon. Ich weiss es nichts, ob dieser schrieben ist richtig. Jemand?
