Z is feeling a bit tough.

Still Jennyfer...  — 6 days ago

Worth doing!

At first, i didn’t like the place too much, but as time progressed, i got to know the staff better.
I really like working there, but i get so tired by the end of the day.

My work has a “break” so I’m going to apply like crazy! We’ll see what happens.

Yes, I will. As soon as I make it through work next week. :P

I have an interview!  — 2 months ago

3 in fact. All next week. At first I felt a little overwhelmed especially with work now, but I will take it one step at a time and remain calm.

Sometimes I wonder if the stars are aligned for it...  — 2 months ago

...not that I’ve gotten any offers or interviews. But the fact that now my commute, which was previously pretty uneventful, will now be longer due to events completely out of my control is driving me crazy. And it’s only the first day! Maybe construction will go faster than anticipated. Maybe they’ll run more trains.

Definitely either need to move closer or get a job closer to home!!!

My current manager was asking around to see who would be staying and would go. I preferred to keep it quiet, but it turns out I’m not the only one with second thoughts.

It was interesting because a co-worker who I really like (although I like everyone within my immediate work group) was kinda sad. She also talked about being worried she “settled” although she thought it was more because for the most part, she really likes the people here too. She also said the next several months will become more exciting and that I should stay for it. I don’t know. In my heart I don’t think so.

Yep. Sometimes it can be really funny seeing how sloppy/messy other people’s cover letters/resumes look like. Other times I feel so woefully inadequate in comparison to what other people do (who has time to be board members and volunteer and interpreter and who knows what else…)

Yep.  — 3 months ago

I don’t like my current job. I’m looking on job boards for postings I like. I’m terrible at networking though (I feel so shy…), so this might be a little hard with the “impending” recession going on…

It's getting to be that time...  — 3 months ago

I’m bored at my current position. There’s little chance for advancement and the place is currently under a hiring freeze (they’re cutting people, really…). The benefits have been hard fought for and increasingly it’s clear temporary employees are not too important to them.

It’s going to take a while, but it will happen.
