There is so much I wish to know about my future. I don’t know what I’m going to be but I know whatever it is, it’s going to be in the field of the arts. I’ve never really been the type to like Science or Math subjects. I’ve always found more joy in doing arts. I’m really lame at Math okay. If I were to be a Mathematician or a Scientist, my skill in that field would be that equivalent to Homer Simpson trying to explain the theory of relativity. I’m horrible at those sort of subjects. My dad isn’t particularly happy with my life choices but hell, as long as I don’t end up in a job I hate and regret having for the rest of my life then I’m good. I think the economy and the world would be much better if people all worked in careers they were good at and loved doing. And besides, people don’t necessarily have to be good at something at the very beginning because chances are, if you’re passionate enough, you’ll be willing to learn and eventually get better. 4 days ago

I already know that I want to major in biological sciences, but I don’t know the specifics of my major yet. I know I want to work in pediatrics, but I don’t know which field yet. At least I have that much, but I know that by the time I graduate, I need to have my goals much more narrowed down. Each semester I will be taking new science classes, each one getting more and more specific, and eventually one will click with me and become my major. My natural talents have always lain within the realm of math and science, so I’ve always known that’s where my future would be. My teachers and advisors will play an integral role in the shaping of my future as they transfer new knowledge and field my questions to the best of their abilities. Volunteering or finding an internship at a hospital would probably be a big help, as it would allow me to experience firsthand where my track is taking me. 2 months ago
I love working as a Health Promotions Officer.
To not have that over-the-shoulder nagging supervision, travel to so many new places and meet new people to chit chat, educate the public about health is a truly rewarding and very enjoyable experience. 6 months ago
Alex: You do what you are Jezzie.
Jezzie: You mean you are what you do.
Alex: No, I mean, you do what you are. You’re born with a gift. If not that, then you get good at something along the way. And what you’re good at, you don’t take for granted. You don’t betray it.
Jezzie: What if you do, betray your gift?
Alex: Then you betray yourself. That’s a sad thing. 6 months ago
I may have something that answers all 3 of your goals at the same time. I was looking to accomplish the same thing a couple months ago. If you’re interested let me know :) 7 months ago
