Last night I could not fall asleep quickly enough so I decided to read something so I bought another book. I only payed like $6 dollars but compared what is in my bank account it is something. I decided to buy the next book in the Angels in the Dark series, Beauty Awakened by Gena Showalter. I really enjoyed reading it. Gena Showalter really knows how to write a story. Watching or reading how two beings grow to love each other is a nice main story but Gena adds a few back stories which really make the book have a backbone. I am going to look into other of her series. 1 week ago
I should have more books that I’m in the middle of reading. And yet…

Unexpected is a great word to use. I was sitting in the bus terminal waiting for my greyhound bus to arrive and decided on a whim to buy this book. I bought Wicked Nights by Gena Showalter and downloaded it to my kindle app on my ipad. In short, I finished it in a few short hours. For a romance book the writing was really good which I was not expecting but was pleasantly surprised. Only thing I did not like was how quickly one of the main characters emotionally changed but overall I loved it. I will definitely will be reading more from Gina. 1 week ago
Reading lots if fiction now, hope to start non fiction soon 3 weeks ago
Finally finished NW. It was a little too meandering for the first half, and the difficult style made it all the less compelling to read. But I actually kind of liked the clip of the second half, plus I like the coming of age parts.
I also read that Malcolm Gladwell book Outliers. It does a lot of worthless summarizing, but as always the stories are interesting.
Reading the fourth in the Rabbit tetralogy: Rabbit at Rest. Okay, wtf. I can’t remember what the other books are even about? I just looked in my past entries, no real notes about anything. I THINK I read Rabbit is Rich first, then Rabbit, Run and Rabbit Redux. I remember thinking that Rabbit, Run was like.. hot and sticky and fucked up. I pretty much remember Rabbit is Rich and how he has a mad boner for his friend’s wife. I can’t remember Rabbit Redux. I’m losing my mind? Much like Rabbit in this book, where he’s a grandpa living in Florida.
There’s a passage in NW titled Rabbit, Run. It’s about a sex toy. 4 weeks ago
