How I did it: i enrolled in classes at dynamo swim academy. i didn't know i was actually scared of the water until my first class. i was on the slow end of things but each class i got more comfortable in the water. i have the fundamentals down. can't say i'm confident yet about being in anything deeper than 6ft. i think i am gonna enroll in an advanced beginners course to overcome that. How I did it: I believed in myself, made sure to let the water take me, and of course, dedicated my session to learning how to swim.
