How I did it: It was either that or play violin, so I eventually went with the piano. One of the things that I remembered was the formation of the hands when playing the instrument as if I am clutching a baseball. I remember playing one song for a recital. I would like to get back to playing when I have time. One day I want to play "Clocks" by Coldplay. I love the piano. It is the best instrument ever! Read how I did it…

How I did it: Private lessons where my teacher focused on my hands, my wrists and gave me exercises to improve dexterity. I learned to read notes and I studied that everyday. Saying the name of the note you strike out loud helps you memorize its position eventually. I can't play a song from the first time like my teacher, but I can read it and get it right after some trial and error without help. I still need a hell of a lot of practice to get faster.
