How I did it: I became friends with my teachers and came to them the minute I had questions. I also showed my interest in the subject matter which ultimately landed me a thesis advisor, a grant, a creative summer internship, and a job that more than funded my start up costs for moving to another country next month! How I did it: I started college at a disadvantage, so my goal was to get a 4.0. It was my way to prove I was successful-and I racked up A's in every class. How I did it: There's always going to be that one subject that you greatly excel at, and one that has just never been your thing. What I did was concentrate more on that one subject than any others, ask my teacher for help when I didn't understand, and soon enough I was on top of it. Read how I did it…
