How I did it: I applied to Albany College of Pharmacy right out of high school, and was accepted into their PharmD program, which takes 6 years to complete. After I finished getting my degree there, I had to take the board exam for New York State, as well as a law exam and the NAPLEX, and finally got my license, so I was officially a pharmacist at that point.
