How I did it: I decided to go to an audition for a small choir in nyc. I got in and met wonderful people from many different places. Although I didnt have a lot of experience they helped me a lot. How I did it: I used to be so afraid to sing in public... Even around my family. One day for guitar class my teacher said that we would be putting on a show for the general public. My friend and I decided to play Highway to Hell by AC/DC because it was relatively easy to play. He said we couldn't just play a song like that without singing. How I did it: last year I was asked by the team of teachers of the school of my youngest 2 kids,  to join them in their Christmas Play (a very beautiful old tradition, read here), and had to get over my fear of talking in public first, before i was plunged from a great hight to then get over my fear of singing in public, on my own...
