Be thanked on a CD's liner notes

my friends Suburban Legends came out with a new album recently titled “Let’s Be friends…” it’s awesome.

and in the liner notes i got quite a shock when i read them. i was thanked twice. by derek lee and vince. and vince even added (Maker Of Things) after my name.

i feel so special that they thought of me and put me in their thank yous. those guys are just too amazing for words. :)

They are really cool guys and I love their music. Make sure to check out their music on Myspace! :) They thanked me in the liner notes for their Half Full LP. I also went up to Kamloops, where they opened for Finger 11 (I think?) to be a Merch Girl. Ahhh my groupie days…. :)

I heard Lynn Patrick because we had a mutual friend. She’s a guitarist, writes all her own music. Award-winning stuff. Got to be pals, and hosted “house concerts” to raise money for her third CD. I helped fund it myself.

My boyfriend produced a CD for the 40th anniversary of his district’s Showtime and when he was designing the cover in Photoshop, he included my name in the liner notes. Made me feel all special and loved.

Now I just have to publish a book so I can do the same for him!

How do I get to this goal? Who do I have to know? It’s a tough one, maybe the toughest on my list. I love music…all kinds…but I don’t know musicians!
