Seduce someone

The one I’m with is pretty amazing, and I do seduce him, but I think that’s cheating to say I’ve done it, so I’m going to politely recede this goal.

I know who I wish to seduce.

I need someone older with stubble.
Mature and sophistciated.
A bit of a challenge.

Ideally on his office desk…

not giving up exactly, but as my potential seducee (?) is becoming a tentatively flirtatious buddy of mine, i’m not trying to actively seduce anyone at the moment. so this goal is off the list until more prey arrives.

well, i made my move, and it failed. i decided to be very direct and have a conversation amounting to me saying “hey, you wanna make out?” i ran the plan by some folks and got thumbs up as to it’s foolproof-edness, but clearly i underestimated the boy’s receptiveness to such an offer.

i thought i’d be more disappointed, but mostly, i’m relieved that i did it, and proud that i asked for what i want. we left it with a hug, so i haven’t damaged our budding friendship. i’ll see him again wednesday, so we’ll see if it’s awkward. i’m hoping it isn’t.

my birthday make-out plans were thwarted inadvertently by a third party, so…

i sought advise from a straight single man and we decided on two appropriate courses of action. at the bar on wednesday 1) grab him by the belt and kiss him, or 2) directly talk to him, along the lines of “i want to make out with you.” and see what he says. i am nowhere near bold enough to grab the belt (well, i’d do the belt grab part, but never the unexpected kiss part), so i’m going with the conversation. if The Thwarter is present, Advice Guy is going to challenge him to a game of pinball so i can be alone with the guy, hence, Operation Pinball.

also, i shall use liquor to my advantage. just enough to steel my nerves. :)

i’ve hung out with this guy a few times, and we are cuddly on the couch at the bar down the street. he’s taking the night off for my birthday and is going to hang out with me the night before too, and meet my friends. if this isn’t going well, it ain’t my fault! i’ve decided it’s his turn to make a move, so hopefully my upcoming birthday is the opportunity we both need to move this along. i’m just going to have to jump him, aren’t i?

I asked someone I think is cute to come to a party with me, and he gave me his number with instructions to call him after he gets off work so we can go. Big step for me, actually inviting someone out!

I’m not very forward when I like someone, I think it’d be good for me to consiously be the initiator. Not to mention it’d be super fun…

Just to see if I could do it.
And having that power.
