I love to make thing s with fabric – be a fabric artist – besides this is a good way to use up all my stash and maybe make some money too -

I put together a few practice squares and printed off a few stippling designs to try out tomorrow.

I did learn that the little strawberry at the end of the tomato pin cushion is for sharpening your pins!
Thank you internetz!

I’m frustrated. I have no Idea if I can do the quilting on a normal non-digital sewing machine. All the tips are for quilting machines. Are they different?

Yesterday ended up to be full of busy work with the little ones. I’ll use the 2 hour late start the girls have to do more research. I am so scared of screwing up or breaking my sewing machine it will take a great effort to actually Do the quilting part.
Found a couple videos:

(I do not have a fancy machine like that but I wish I did!)

Today will be research day. I have NO idea how to complete the next step in quilting. The actual quilting part. So, I will read and watch everything I can today and tomorrow in attempt to ready myself for practice swatches this weekend.
P.S. Ship, if I cuss and throw things this weekend, please, ignore me!

The first quilt is all pinned down and folded back up now. I’ll need to learn how to quilt on some scraps first.
I may just “Stitch in the ditch” but I still need to practice tension.

Ship and I found the stack of quilt tops and binding strips I made last year. Now to get him upstairs to help me pin it all down.
Update: Quilt #1 is a quilt sandwich now! Hurray!

Is that table large enough for it to lay fully upon top without any overhang?
Do you think we could actually have the time to get it done without the baby fighting us?
I have strong doubts.

I started two lap quilting projects. Quilting for beginners book had them with some awesome directions. I got all the way up to pinning the batting and backing on but my fingers wont co-operate. I asked the Hubby for help and he said yes. I asked several more times, and of course he said yes. I’m still waiting for help.
I really want to finish them and start new ones!
I thought about joining a quilting group and looked into it vigorously. They all said you need to lug your sewing machine with you each time and well, that isn’t going to work out for me.
