This has been a long term goal for me – I think we are submersed in messages telling us to buy buy buy if we want to be happy.
I feel true hapines stems not from what materials we acquire, but from knowledge, love and experiences. There are a few philosophers that echo this thought, but the real life influences are my cuzin, who will give away things that he loves to people he loves, and even people he doesnt really know. Its more than generosity, it is non-materialism.

I can’t stop doing this. Quite frankly I’m not sure if its just a habit or if its imbedded into my genetics.
And when I do feel like my material thoughts are fading, I’m quite resistance to let them go. At least I am one thing, resilient.
Haha.

I think I have achieved this goal… but I am not sure…
I know I am less materialistic then before so this is good.
My gf though is very materialistic. So this kind of is weird.

I really do buy crap… I don’t need a quarter of all I buy.. I’ve got to stop now! memories will always be better than an object!
