20. Dolphins! Yeah, I pet 3 dolphins while swimming with them. Cool.

19. Toad. I actually pet 3 of them. We moved a feeder this weekend and they were living under it. All 3 were different colors. One was a cool grey with red.
15. Gator. I pet a baby gator, actually, I held a baby gator this weekend at a place here in Christmas, FL.
16. Snake. 2 types of snakes. The only reason I could convince myself to pet them is because of this stupid list. blech.
17. Tarantula. I held her and pet her. She was very nice. I didn’t know, but there are 8 breeds of tarantulas and not 1 can kill a person. Their blood is copper based so turns blue when exposed to oxygen. They are so fragile if they fall from 4’ high their exoskeleton will break and they will bleed to death.
18. Deer. I fed and pet 2 deer. 1 was white.
They have baby geese at the feed store. I couldn’t resist. They are MUCH bigger than chicks, but still have fuzzy yellow hair. I opened the cage and pet a couple while the ran around trying to get away from me. Poor babies. :)
My new neighbors have 4H chickens. They bought some new chicks of several different breeds and brought them over for me to see. I got to hold one and they are soooo cute! Too bad they grow up to be chickens. :)
I wouldn’t normally count bugs. But I’ve always loved ladybugs. We used to catch them and keep them in a jar as kids. Had one join me for a ride this weekend and I petted him and talked to him and told him he was going on my 43 things list. :)
I have a frog that visits many nights on my kitchen door to catch the bugs by the lights. Last night I pet him and took his picture.
There was a little turtle in my yard after the rain storm yesterday morning. I picked him up and talked to him before setting him back down to go on his way.
I petted a chicken, three times! She was at Denise’s and was really friendly. I was so excited to pet her, just for this entry!
We walked at the beach last night. The tattoo place on the pier had 4 bunnies hanging out. Of course I had to go pet them, just for my list. Soft, soft bunny fur. I had a bunny coat when I was about 6 or so. I spent more time petting it than wearing it.
