I had my first Tai-Chi class yesterday morning. During the two-hours class, the teacher introduced some basic information about Tai-Chi. He said Tai-Chi is the fountain of wisdom since it not only helps improve your health, but also gives you a peaceful mind. Every step has its meaning. It can be used as an excersice. It can also be used in fighting, like to defend yourself etc. We did some warm-ups and learnt Ma Bu. It was quite tiring. The stretching almost killed me lol. My legs feel sooo sore right now. I think it’s because I haven’t done any excersice for a while. The teacher is quite funny and he’s super patient. I went there with a girl from Switzerland. It was quite hard for her since the teacher didn’t speak English. I wish I could translate everything so that she could understand the great culture behind Tai-Chi.
An Irish girl will join us next time. I can’t wait to have my second class :) 15 months ago
