I want to help others have a better life so they can realize their own dreams 9 months ago

I plan to help my nieces and nephews get a college education by providing financial support as needed.

I plan to help my hairstylist’s grandson get through college and become an NBA basketball player by providing financial support as needed.

I plan to help other siblings in my family set up their own business so they can follow their dreams.

I plan to help my son financially to realize his dream of seeing his films released in theaters all over the world.

that I have.

Still wondering what my role 18 months ago

is in this grand scheme of things. But I know it exists.

It's the question of laziness 2 years ago

The world would be a whole lot different if everyone did what they are the best at or what they love (chances are the both could relate to only one thing).
For example:
I’m doing good with the languages, and a job for me is the translator of books. I work as hard as I can to get that job.
It’s true that you can’t do only what you like in life, but at least tend to do so when it’s the word about careers.
Some people are too lazy when it comes to working hard to achieve goals in life. Tt almost looks like they live their lives just because they are born, it’s a life without goals and desires. Those people usually end up as local clerks or street cleaners.
There are those who are unable to reach their goals, but there is no man in the world that likes only one thing.
For example: I’m pretty much into airplanes (helicopters to be exact), martial arts, programming, photography, writing, art, swordfighting, animation, etc.
It doesn’t mean I’m very good at them, but I try new things and when I find something I both like and am good at I practice that particular thing constantly.
Many people don’t do that, and the world would be a different place if they all did, I’m quite sure.

To do something, anything is hard. 2 years ago

It’s much easier to blame your father, your mother, the environment, the government, the lack of money, but even if you find a place to assign the blame, it doesn’t make the problems go away.

I’ve never been a protestor or an activist, but I believe strongly in organizations that promote peace through constructive action, such as Peaceworks. www.peaceworks.com My way of making a difference in this big old world is by buying products from companies that are trying to make a difference in the world, such as Meditalia. The philosophy of Meditalia, through their business partnership among Israelis and Arabs, is that shared wallets lead to shared visions of the future. I think this is a great thing and should be the mold for a lot of similar movements in the world.

Maybe I should start smaller 2 years ago

What a huge task it seems like to say that I want to make a difference in this world – is it even possible? How do I go about making a difference when I am just one person? Maybe I should start on a more reasonable level like making a difference in the life of one person or in my community and work my way up from there. Perhaps I will start today.

This quote parallels 2 years ago

my thinking.

“I have never been especially impressed by the heroics of people who are convinced they are about to change the world. I am more awed by those who struggle to make one small difference after another.”

Sometimes 2 years ago

I wonder what the purpose is of life if I can’t make a difference to someone. I’m not interested in being a negative difference. That’s all too easy. I want to be a positive difference. That’s difficult. Really difficult. All I can do is be the best person that I can be. Also difficult.

gotta leave a legacy 3 years ago

everybody in this world has a purpose in life, they were created for something, sometimes it comes out naturally, other times you have to look for it, i’m still not sure what’s my purpose in life, but i think i was brought to this world to help people, anyway i can, i like helping people, and you don’t really have to do a lot to accomplish that, you just gotta be there for the people you love, and you’ll see how much a difference you make in their world.
