Harmless DilettanteA Tough Decision, But the Right One
This year, I’ve done a great deal of research and discussed various options with other horse breeders. I just can’t see any way possible to actually turn a profit this year, or the next. So, I’ve decided to close down my seven year old horse breeding business. Frankly, I’m looking forward to simply being an amateur horse owner again. The long hours, hard manual labor, injuries, and losses have made been a long, hard haul.
I’ve already put a great deal of my equipment up for sale. It’s time to sell my extra mare. Time to put together a retirement sale for the rest of the farm stuff I won’t be needing in private life.
I started my farm in October 2004. I’d like to get this all wrapped up by October of this year. 15 months ago
